Quick question here, but how does a cyp sensor go bad? I'm asking because my 94 D16z6 is throwing a code 9. How would you diagnose this as well? It throws the code at random times on and off and will go away after you restart the car.

OK Cel 9 Mean CYP (Cylinder Position Sensor) what is does is senses your cylinder position and when to fire.

Alot of people have this problem from ther car siting out too long or just hella dirty and not cleaning ur bay., Most of the time the Problem is from ur dizzy (Distributor), unplug batterie, Ecu fuse, and ECU then unplug the dizzy harnest and check for dirt or cut loose wire ect.. then replug everthing start the car and let is sit for about 10 min, if it doesnt work then u can try to replace ur ECU, thats the other cause and effect. try that and get back ASAP

^^ thats what i meant by replacing the ecu. and were talking about spraying out the inside of the dizzy, not the plugs. get some contact cleaner and clean out the plugs if you wish... but on these cars 99% of the time its old dirty oil that has gotten past the internal o-ring of the dizzy and has "compromised" the pickups inside the dizzy.
